The Shock Doctrine is in full Effect

It seems with this corporate bailout we are heading towards a sort of national socialism. Hmm, that term sounds quite familiar. The Shock Doctrine as coined by Naomi Klein has passed all 10 steps for the institution of a Fascistic government. Congratulations, President Bush was able to do what his grandfather couldn't with a coup in 1938 with a bunch of his corporate buddies...install a fascist government in the United States.

It was brilliantly played with the Reichstag fire on 9-11-01 and the depressed economy right on its heels, there's no way people would feel comfortable enough to govern themselves. Let us give all of our rights and money to the government so they'll protect us from their friends, the assassins of Arabia and Wall Street.

Tom, are you posting your blog somewhere else? It would be a shame if you weren't, cause you're one of my favorite AWB's (Angry White Boys). Besides, I'd like to invite you to meet with some of the rest of us larky, snarky Indiana bloggers. While the state was Red, we learned we needed to band together for survival (little realizing that, together, we made a more convenient target). Now that the state is oh-so-blue, we hang together to crow...and to figure out what's next

and how to help keep everybody honest.

Here's my email addy: LLAmos@totalteamsolutions.com. Find me!

Lalita,
I do post on some other sites but cross-post here. Things were going so well for Obama that I really didnt have anything to be angry about. Plus I'm on deployment so my access to civilian internet is limited. But I'm going to start getting back in the posting game.

Thanks for your encouragement and support. It is always good to know that people actually read what I write.
